Wanna make your place sparkle like the top of Mr. Clean’s head? Skip the toxic cleaners for eco-friendly brands like SimpleGreen, Greenworks, Mrs. Meyers, Ecover, Method, Green Depot, and Seventh Generation. Cleaning products end up … in our homes, cars, and office as well as on dishes, countertops, furniture, clothes, floors, windows, and hovering through the air. Most of the conventional ones we’re used to are toxic and nearly all of the traditional cleaning products we have grown up with are petroleum-based and have perilous health and environmental implications. Sit back and think about it for a moment … our traditional household cleaners all have the warning seal, DO NOT CONSUME. Fair enough. But if it’s harmful to consume isn’t it harmful to breathe it in and let it leach into our skin? We think, yes! Instead of opting for cleaning products that annihilate everything in their path with toxic, there are plenty of natural products and methods that keep a house clean and fresh-smelling minus the toxic side effects. Try it!

The kiddos are highly vulnerable to chemical toxicants. Children drink more water, eat more food, and breathe more air than adults … this means that children will have substantially heavier exposures than adults to any toxins that are present.

I’ll gear this review to 2 types of people: current Zune owners who are considering an upgrade, and people trying to decide between a Zune and an iPod. (There are other players worth considering out there, like the Sony Walkman X, but I hope this gives you enough info to make an informed decision of the Zune vs players other than the iPod line as well.)

One of the largest culprits in ocean pollution is phosphates which are found in laundry detergents and other cleaning products. Americans use nearly 8.3 billion pounds of dry detergent and a billion gallons of liquid detergent each year, which in turn can kill life in rivers, streams, and oceans by causing phosphate-laden "algae blooms"

Definitely agree with what you stated. Your explanation was certainly the simplest to understand. I inform you, I generally get irked when folks discuss issues that they plainly do not know about. You managed to hit the nail right on the head and explained out everything without complication. Maybe, people can take a signal. Will most likely be back to get more. Many thanks
Eye-popping piece of writing bro. This excellent is just a particularly nicely structured post on the blog, just the knowledge I was looking to find. Thx
Keep up the amazing work!! I love how you wrote this and I also like the colors here on this site. did you create this yourself or did you outsource it to a coder??
Great blog! I really love how it’s easy on my eyes and the facts are well written. I am wondering how I may be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your rss feed which ought to do the trick! Have a nice day!
Moving and powerful! Youve certainly acquired a way of reaching individuals that I havent observed very generally. If most men and women wrote about this theme using the eloquence that you simply just did, Im certain men and women would do a great deal more than just go through, theyd act. Fantastic stuff right here. Please continue to keep it up.
Wanna start fresh with a tidy home sans chems? Take a chance with Babyganics. Kevin and Keith, the two founding-fathers, are clean freaks like us Greenista Girls. Their line is organic, VOC free, without fillers and dyes, and has superior performance. Try out the dish washer detergent ($9.49) or the toy and highchair cleaner ($4.99) – it’s strong enough to clean and still good for your babies, pets, and the environment. Currently, our government does not require manufacturers to list all chemicals and ingredients on product labels, and according to the National Research Council no toxic information is available for over 80% of the chemicals used in everyday products. Don’t fret about what you did in the past – take this opportunity to have a clean slate … and home.
Greenista Cocktail Factoid: Traces of chemicals can be found in every organ of the body within 26 seconds of exposure. Now that is a scary thought.
Aw, this was a really quality post. In theory I’d like to write like this too – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
Many thanks for sharing this wonderful post. Please hold up this weblog as ensure that it is an example of my preferred web site in my reader, with thanks
I just wanted to comment and say that I really enjoyed reading your blog post here. It was very informative and I also digg the way you write! Keep it up and I’ll be back to read more in the future

Don’t want any day time drama when it comes to cleaning? Try Kiss My Face Peace Soap ($15.99/34 oz). This castile soap is made by combining organic olive oil with coconut, hemp, and jojoba oils, and it’s biodegradable, veggie-based, vegan, and free of SLS, parabens, phthalates, and artificial fragrances. There are four eco-licious scents like Grassy Mint, Lavender Mandarin, Pomegranate Acai, and Lemongrass Sage Clary. Bonus: A portion of the proceeds go to Seeds of Peace and the soap has over 101 uses…seriously! Try it on home, body, kitchen, and outdoors. Greenista Girl Brianne used it to wash dishes and her pooch … not at the same time. Steamy, hunky lothario not included.
Greenista Cocktail Factoid: Castile soap is one of the oldest forms of soap in the world. During World War I, a shortage of natural oils resulted in the development of synthetic detergents — like conventional ones we use today — as a substitute for soap-making.
