Brianne DiSylvester, Senior Editor
Once Brianne started writing about green living, it was all downhill from there … in a good way. She realized how important incorporating eco-friendly products and food into her life was for her body and the planet. Prior to assisting with the launch of Greenista, Brianne was the NY City Editor for the now defunct Ideal Bite, which was a goddess in the green world with a ton of readers. She learned so much over the past few years and can’t wait to share it all with our Greenistas! Aside from writing about green living, Brianne also has her own local and organic food blog called Get Fork’d and her own line of organic dog treats – Get Lick’d. She will be using her domestic goddess skills to cover Dwell and News. |

Mike Demma, Contributing Writer
Mike is originally from upstate New York, but he moved to Texas in January of 2007 to attend the University of Houston for Graphic Design. After graduation he was approached by fellow classmate and current coworker Erin Link, who had arranged an interview for him with Greenopolis for a graphic design position. He got the job, and now currently resides as the content manager for Greenopolis! One of Mike’s favorite things in life to do is design, so he loves to reuse and upcycle things to new and unique ideas. Take for example the Driftwood Lamp post he wrote, which shows people how easy it is to reuse and build. He does confess that he used to take very long showers, but now he cuts down his time to conserve water. As far as working at Greenopolis goes for Mike, he says that he’s always learning great ideas and facts from the blogs on Greenopolis, and he constantly shares them with his friends and family. “It’s great to work with so many talented people, and I’ll continue to do my part in becoming more successful.” |
