Trendy Eco Lunch Boxes

Are you a lady who lunches but wouldn’t be caught dead with a Tupperware container? Class up lunch hour with a Tiffin Lunch Box Set ($85). It’s a traditional Indian lunch container that’s now hitting it big time in the States. The Tiffin is made of stainless steel (hello, totally reusable) and is stackable so you can carry 3-5 dishes in one easy stack sans plastic baggies. The mini containers are meant to each hold its own food like veggies, pasta, fruit, rice, meat, and even soup…yes, soup! We love the separation – food won’t get all gunked together – and the fact that bringing your lunch promotes healthy cooking and eating vs. takeout. Plus, the lids of each container doubles as a plate…so long, paper plates. Talk about posh.

Greenista Cocktail Factoid: According to the EPA, every child who brings a brown-bag lunch to school each day generates 67 pounds of waste by the end of the school year. Go reusable instead.
